Day 19! Yes, it's true!!!! We are almost there! And today's quote is just so perfect, I thought! I am loving the whole act-->habit-->character-->destiny idea. I couldn't agree more! We are sowing our desitnies & what we reap depends on our acts, habits, character...LOVE this!
So, for my Day 19 album, I just love anything from Jenni Bowlin Studios...her little tickets are so fun! I added bling; flowers & these tickets!

March 18, 2008~ DAY 18!
Day 18! Only a few more days! I finally got my pictures taken of my book! I've been doing it totally hybrid!
I printed them out on Avery Sticker paper , put them on the board pages of the Basic Grey Bracket book & then have been embellishing them everyday with 'stuff'!:) Love Elsie epoxies; 7 Gypsies labels; Heidi Swapp fuzzy rubons & bling, etc! Love this! fun & cReative! I'm feeling it...seeing the light at the end of the tunnel! woohoo!

March 17, 2008~ DAY 17!
Day 17! We got over our last weekend! For some reason, weekends are always so much more difficult than the weekdays! But, I'm always amazed at the support that is with the 21ers! Each day it is so great to go over there & share our creations; support, etc!

March 16, 2008~ DAY 16!
Day 16! Sunday. One of my favorite days! I love the peace & rest it is for me. I love my Sunday naps! I love spending time together as a family! And I love getting refreshed & recharged for the next week! This is it...our last few days! We can do it!

Day 15! Woohoo! You know what this means, right? We are on the countdown...less than one week. And with today's quote: "Men are born to succeed. Not fail." I can't agree more.

what inspiRed me? Tara Whitney's amazing photography! Not only is she a super talented photographer , but she's a wonderful friend, too. She gave me one of the best photoshoots of my life. Wait. I take that back. THE best photoshoot of my life. I will cherish these family photos forever. Thanks, Tara! You are truly wonderful!
what motivates me? the photo in here just tells it all...the Gospel of Jesus Christ! It is what keeps me grounded. Gives me the love & joy in life. And brings perspective to who I am; where I am going & what I can become! I love that!

March 14, 2008~ DAY 14!!! Two Weeks!
Two Weeks? Yea, baby! Can you believe it? We are on the home stretch! Totaly exciting! Totally rewarding! Totally looking forward to this last week!
So many things to make me happy today!
1. You are all inspiRing me! I found that Liz Kartchner is participating with the coolest ATC holder idea! Love it, Liz! (& love her play list...yum!)
2. I"m loving Chris' journey...wow...talk about strength! Way to go, girl!
3. Sugarloop's work ... just got a happy, springy, yellow bird print that is simply gorgeous!
4. These mobiles ...just got a bird one to hang in my studio! I'll take a pic when I get it up!
5. The Grand Opening of our Chic Shack store !!!! Tomorrow! And, midnight tommorrow is when the 'guessing game' ends! I'll be annoncing the winner of the big kit!

Just love today's quote! I am convinced that we do not give ourselves enough credit in the talents we've been blessed with! Everyone is talented!
I have a friend who says she's not talented! She says she can't do anything that you can see; art, music, etc. But, I disagree. This friend is amazing at making people feel happy. Making people feel like they are someone special. She has the talent of always giving compliments to everyone; always finding ways to help others. THIS IS A TALENT & I just wish I could help her see this. She's an amazingly talented person & I love her!

Day 12! Well, fell off the wagon for a bit...but, as the quote says today:
'continue with courage'...I'm going to! And, I'm soo thrilled that so many of you are, too! We will have set backs...that is life. But how we deal with the set backs is what will determine our success, right? So, it's a new day. I'm back on, baby!
So, for my creative play I had fun with home decor again! I took these plain vases from Ikea...
added some Heidi Swapp fuzzy rub ons
& it gave my huge bookshelves just the right POP of color I wanted!

Day 10. Ok, so like I said in my post today here, 21 Days is going to go by no matter what. So, why not be involved in something really worth while: working toward a better you? Even if we 'fall off the wagon', let's get back on. We can continue in our efforts! We can do it!

Day 8! We are through our first week! Woohoo! I've so enjoyed getting to know everyone through this..it's been an amazing feast for the visual eyes and feast for the soul! Each day I've been really inspiRed by the stories, experiences & creations everyone is making!

Day 7!!! Totally having fun with Dr. Seuss' quote today! Love him! (& it was his birthday on the 2nd!) And...had fun with photography today!
Love using filters, texture overlays, actions, brushes, photo edges, etc! I was totally inspired by Nate & Jaclyn's way of using textures, edges & the way they play with their photos! Here are my experimentations!
Rebecca Thuss once again inspired me & I love her photography at ThussFerrill. Love the juxtaposition of photos they did for their Paris album and also Stephanie & Mav's Visual Blogging.

March 6, 2008~ DAY 6 *happy birthday, my sweet seester!*
Day 6. Yesterday was tough, I"m hearing from you! And guess what? It was for me, too! It gets more & more difficult to stick with it, but let me tell you: it's worth it! Today's quote is by Marianne Willamson & it inspiRes me to no end!

I had tons of fun forcing Spring into my home! I broke out of the box & decided to try something different with my cReative pRocess!

I just got branches from outside; hot glued paper flowers all over..layering & havin' some fun! Then, I just put on these cute birds I got at a craft store! Ta Da! Spring has sprung....& I'im so happy!

Ahhh! Day 5...how are you doing? It gets more difficult everyday, I know! But, just stick with it! It's amazing how much support we have from all over the world! We have participants from: Canada, NC, California, Holland, Sweden, Tennessee, Utah, Washington, Michigan, Hungary, Florida, Pennsylvania, the Midwest, Ft. Lewis, New York City, San Francisco Bay Area, Norway, Minnesota, Germany, Virginia, Oregon Coast, Inland Empire, Dallas & Spartanburg, Wyoming, Kansas, Illinois, Ecuador, Ohio
Colorado, France, Southeast Texas, Virginia, & the list is growing! Isn't that cool?
Keep it up...when you want to quit, think of this quote & the many others that are cheering for you! We can do it!
A huge part of the 21 challenge , is the daily creating part. When I'm in a creative rut I crave inspiRation....& if I can't go out & about...I always find it when I'm blogging! Now, granted, I can not blog 24/7 (though it's easy to do), but, when I do blog I have to keep on task; find my inspiration & then go create!
Some of my all time fave inspiRation blogs are decor 8 & poppytalk . I love them! My mind goes nuts when I see all the visual tasties! So, thanks Jan & Holly for your time, inspiRation finds & the sharing you do with the whole creative community! Cheers!

March 4, 2008~ DAY 4
Today's quote is all about finding the pleasure in the process or the challenge. With my goal~ no sugar~ trust me, I need to find any & all pleasure in the process! I had major headaches yesterday, but plowed my way through the day...I was soo excited because I got to start my Illustrator class with Alma!
I have taught myself all I can in Illustrator & now needed a great class. Alma is a fantastic teacher & it was so fun to 'go back to class'...although, I did have the 'first day' butterflies in my tummy...even after all these years! I guess you never grow out of that!
Ok, so...did you see today's Day 4? I am seriously having so much fun doing this...& finding inspiRation all over! I LOVE Design to InspiRe (how apropos is that for our challenge?) & Rebecca Thuss' work...shaZam! It's electric!

I'm so excited to see all the inspiRation during this challenge. Each person is totally amazing me! I love to hear about your goals & experiences on this journey!
Today, I shared my InspiRation Board that I have in my studio. It covers an entire wall of my studio & is right about my workspace.
That is a long shelf up above the board. It's too high for me to get an image of it! sorry! The frame of the board is covered in patterned packing tape to hide the plain white frame! & it also runs along the center of the galvanized metall pieces to keep the seam out of veiw. Magnets, flowers mini file folders, ribbons...& whatever else I can find keep my pieces up there!
Just a huge hunk o' inspiRation....

Wow...totally amazing how many people are jumping on board! Yesterday was so fun to hear so many 21ers share their goals, their hearts, their artwork! I'm so excited for everyone!

And my page for today was totally inspiRed by BLIK! Have you guys seen this stuff? They are so cool! I love the whole vinyl art stuff...totally easy, fun & a quick way to add some flair to anything around your home or business!
Yes, it's a chandelier...I've heard people say they don't like or get them...that's OK! I like 'em! & the great thing is, eveyone can like what they like!
A few years ago, my SIL & I were shopping & we came across a black t-shirt with a glittered white chandelier on the front...I fell in love. It was the first time I'd seen a chandy on a shirt!...or anywhere for that matter! & I bought it...my SIL was dying..she kept saying... Who wants to wear a chandelier? My girls did. It ended up being one of their faves....& now, sadly, it's trashed!
Anyway...here's to Day 2...have fun & do what you like!
