Quite a weekend...

This past weekend was a very special milestone in our family...my baby turned 8 & was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  

It was such a wonderful experience to see Sol prepare for this big step. He really wants to follow Jesus & be obedient! His little face just shined when he'd talk about it; ask questions about it & realize he was taking an essential sept in receiving forgiveness for sins.  Through the power of the Priesthood, he was baptized by his dad

 

& confirmed a member of the church by his grandpa...we were so thrilled to have him there!

 

The Spirit was so strong & it testified of what it's all about; This is why we are here on earth...to learn & grow & feel God so close to us! I was so filled with JOY...pure joy!

So....afterward we had family & friends over for yummy food & just hanging out...lots of cousins & fun! Poor Sol ended his big day with a big bump on his head...he went over a speed bump on his scooter; handle came off; & he wiped out! OUCH!

 

But, he's a trooper & doing much better....

It's September, can you believe it? The air is crisping up here...yesterday it was chilly & rainy...today it's sunny & Fall is in the air!

woohoo! Love it!
