Thanks...I needed that!

Today started like a regular Wednesday...Checked off my list as I went through our normal morning routine (which I love)

1. read scriptures  as a family. check.  2. breakfast for family check. 3. make kids'/Jeff's lunch check. 4. get kids all ready for school check.     5. kids & Jeff off to work/school kiss kiss. check. 6.worked out /ate breakfastcheck.  7. showered/got ready for day check.  8. my personal prayer & scriptures check. 9. turn on Pandora & get to work!check.   I love this part of my day! love. It's my time get my thoughts together; feel creative & get filled up so that by the time it's the after school routine I'm pumped up & ready to give my all to my family again.

So...today was a bit different.  I am at #9 and...*KAPOW*  *SHAZAYAM* I stumble on this: The Happiness Project. very cool! Then I start reading more about Gretchen's Happiness Project blog.  I just love the whole concept.  Gretchen says everyone should have a Happiness Project of their own.  Now, obviously, everyone's Project will be different, because what makes me happy isn't necessarily what will make you happy.   But, I looked around & decided to start my own Happiness Project as we begin the Fall season & I feel the need to make goals & have a plan!

Who doesn't want to be happy, right?

Now, Gretchen says to start out by designing your own Happiness Commandments. I like this. (And every Wednesday she gives some kind of tip.) So...as it says here, I decided to make my own precepts that I want to guide my actions & thoughts to make me happy:

I'm not up to 12 yet...She says it took her a couple of months to get there, but to think about them...So, I suspect I'll be adding on.  Each of these Happiness Commandments mean something to me & though they may be cryptic to you; I know just what I need to do to be happy!

Ok, now, I need to print this out & go enjoy the process...ciao!
