Fall Fotos....

Have I said it before? I love Fall! particularly October, because of the leaves...the colors...the nip in the air! I love it!  And....taking photos of it all is one of my fave things, too! We live super close to Sundance , so the other day the kids & I hopped in the car with some friends, a few props & my camera! We took photos all over & had such a great time!  **yes, I'm a wanna be Tara ...do you see this photo & the one in the post below? yea...I'm trying to be Tara when I grow up!**

and, I have to say: seeing my little ones grow up is...different. fun, but different!

She was just hanging around & I snapped these.  gorgeous!

When I was editing these, I about fell off my chair. It's different when you see your daughter day to day & then suddenly, she's taller than you, we share the same clothes & she's turning into a gorgeous teen right before my eyes! Where did the time go? 

My sister & I were just talking about this; when we were moms of little babies we remember older moms saying, "Enjoy these years because they grow up so quickly."  But, we didn't feel like anything was going quickly...those years of diapers & laundry & wiping noses & doing everything for them were long, slow days...&  years. But, then, suddenly they are grown up. They are taller than you. They are doing things for themselves.  We decided it's not quick, but it is sudden.& it's here. It's a fun time in our lives right now. I love it. I love being a mom & I love being their mom.

And being a wife & mom, day to day,  teaches me what's important day by day, step by step & line upon line. Life is good, I feel so thankful! Don't get me wrong, life is not easy, but it is good & I am learning to take even the bad & look for the good because it's there. I believe that is one thing my children teach me day by day. And with each step, my journey is becoming more full of joy!

Ok, so in all my excitement about October & biRthday prezzies...I totally forgot to show you the NEW Releases at 2ps yesterday! Love this .99 quickie template.  So super easy! & speaking of birthdays....(weren't we?) this photo was taken by Tara...my birthday twin! hee ...fun! LOVE thos photo of S. He was rolling around on the grass & she got right down with him & just started shooting...a*mazing what she got out of that...she's truly so talented...just love her!

And...with 2009 coming...how about a calendar kit?  This is so fast & easy, too!  They come in 8x8 colored PNG files to drag & drop on either your scrapbook pages (when you want to highlight a month/date, etc.) Or....put on a plain background *& print out your own calendar. I love digital because you can totally do your own thing in Photoshop first before you print out: resize for a desk calendar;  add birthdays & special dates; or even put photos on the dates!

New Class :: New Goals :: New Month...

New Class: This week, join me over at 2ps for a class on those Halloween Treat Jars I showed you the other day! I've got a step by step PDF that will show you exactly what I did. And then, I'll be over on the Education board every day to answer questions, give more tips & ideas & see your fab creations!  Join me for some spooky fun!

New Goals::  This past weekend I watched, soaked up & flew on Cloud 9!  I LOVE General Conference ! I was so excited to hear our prophet & president, Thomas S. Monson, announce the building of 5 new temples!!!!!    Rome, Italy was named as one...my sister served her mission there & I just got chills & teary eyed as I thought of all those people she served for a year & a half...the blessing of a temple for them, the people she loves so much!  So exciting!!!!  And, I"m always so inspired to do a little better, be a little kinder, work a little harder on being a better person & feel the love of God so strong I just know I'm a child of God.  Prayers were answered as I listened to the Prophet & Apostles testify of Jesus Christ , guide us with words of inspiration on how to feel peace in this tumultuous world & how to keep our hearts pure being filled with love.  I came away with a stronger conviction & testimony that Jesus Christ loves us.  I am so thankful for this peace & comfort!

New Month:: It's October already?  No way!!!!    ....I have to say this is my favorite month: my birthday month! It's time to party! Anyone who knows me knows that I love my birthday! I love to celebrate. I love to party all month long. I love to be festive all month long!  I love to reflect on my life as I grow older. And I have to say: I've loved being 40 all year. Seriously, turning 40 is underated. I am so happy. So fulfilled. So content with my life, my relationships, myself, everything! 

So, each week this month, I'll be giving away a little prezzie for everyone!  Check out tomorrow for this week's prezzie...until then, have a happy Monday!
