Happy biRthday to me...

woohoo! Today's been a paRty! It started last night by going up to visit my mom & dad (& my bro. was up here from AZ for biz) for our family fave: Tacos Con Crema!  Mom is the best...SHE is the one that has made things *magical* for us 6 kids! For 41 years, I've had the privilege of having her love me, teach me, inspire me & mold me into what I am now....creatively; spiritually & I could never be the kind of mom I am today without HER wonderful, enduring, amazing example! *sniff sniff* I love you, Mom!  Thank you for a deeeelightful biRthday dinner last night!

*p.s. She even made me (from scratch) a gluten-free almond/poppyseed pound cake covered with whipped cream & stRawbeRRies! woohoo! she's da beyst!

 Ok....and today; my own familia woke me up with fabulous prezzies...showering me with love, kindness & kisses!  I love you guys! You are my world! And you make me sooo happy! I love being your mom & wife! My life is bliss with you!  ***mmmm*wah!

 Lunch with my wonderful friends....ah! They took me to my fave mexican food place! Any of you Utahns...you *must* try Maria Bonitas.  It's so deelish! We ordered 3 big Molcajetes for us all & we ate until we were stuffed and STILL took home leftovers!  smooches to you all!

 How about his cuuuute cupcake of flowers?  Thank you sweet seesters! I love you tons & wish I were there to play play play!

and...tonight: homemade gluten-free German Chocolate cake. ( I have to say: this is my first birthday I've known I was gluten intolerant, so we'll see how the cake is! ha! But, at least I can have the frosting & icecream if the cake is wierd!)

See these cute little vintage girls? It's how I feel...celebrating life; dancing, twirling....ahhh the 40's are a good time in life. Anyone who is scared of it...don't be. It's fabulous. I feel like I'm the happiest, healthiest & most content I've ever been.  I'm so thankful for all my blessings & know they come from a loving Father in Heaven. I would be an ungrateful wretch if I didn't give thanks to Him.

Really. I owe all my life & happiness to Him!

p.p.s My sweet seester paid a tear jerker birthday tribute!!!!  I cried...yes. I cried. BUT...how funny is this: Nigh unstoppable.  Ok, Ame...you made me laugh so hard...talk about tributes...you are THE beyst! You're fan*tastic! love you & thanks for all the sweet things you said!

So...it's my last day being 40!

and...to go out with a *bang* I ran the 2nd Annual Four Ten Half Marathon!  ha ha!  Yes, this is my own half marathon...but, I did this last year on my Birthday Eve & it felt so great to turn 40 right after I ran 13.1 miles!  So...I decided if I can do this every year for the next....um...let's say 15+ years **wink**...then, I think the birthdays will be even more fun than they already are! 

woohoo! feelin' great on my last day of being 40! That's what I call fun! 

So....yesterday was another release & I gotta say...each week the new kits are my favorite! ha! How can that be? ...no really.

This new Travel Journal Kit is sooo fab!  I am working on a whole family book for my kids & these pre-made pages, tags, tape,  & *all* of the elements in here make it so fast, fun & fab to create digital pages! 

And... how about some gorgeous frivolity?  Check out these Swirled Corners ...mmm...21 of them are in this brush kit...some smaller, some larger & wow...I LOVE them!
