 This week's Illustration Friday' s theme is: Homage.  So, here is my homage to Spring...yes, it's a bit of a stretch, but I illustrated my photo with my digital brushes, bird, frame & font (new: coming out next week! )

And, today I had the great pleasure of hooking up with editor of Scrapbooking Dimensions , Cindy Wyckoff today! And I got to meet Stacy...her photographer! Totally fun photo shoot at my house...more to come later! ...wanted to share Stacy's work with you! Love her site! 

 And...I've been getting ready for my online class in Italy!  I was invited to teach at the Paper & Co show in Italy , but wasn't able to actually go!  So...the next best thing? An online class over at Scrapbookiando.com.

Happy April Fool's Day! It's a family tradition to have 'Backwards Day' today. We wake up & do our daily schedule backwards!  Dessert first. Then , dinner. Then, school...& after school we did our daily chores/jobs. As a mom..it's fun to continue this fun tradition! My kids love desserft first!  And so do i..i love the whole concept...dessert first.  My mom was very smart....we felt like at least one day out of the year we got to have it 'our way'.  Dessert first. The best first...no waiting. best thing first. love it!

The traditional dessert has always been Strawberry Shortcakes. My mom made yummy ones like this!

um...who said anything about March leaving as a lamb???? Yea. Woke up to this!  I was so excited that our daffodils were blooming...look how sad they are! Can I cry now? :(

But...as my sweet dd said: " Well at least Aunt Amy's coming!" Gotta love her! She always looks on  the bright side of things...a true gift, imo! 

& Yes, my dear seester, Amy , is coming this Friday...can I be any more excited? nah...don't think so! She's coming for General Conference (General Confy, in Amy-an-ese) with Garrett her husband...soo excited to roll with these dogs! 

And may I take this opportunity to talk about Gar...the guy's a genius. He's one of the funniest, most talented, coolest cats I know...(of course, he married my seester...so he has to be a genius) but, really. I LOVE his music.  Take a little peepsy & listen up! I get sooo pumped listening to Whole..... Scream is a fab song, too!  & I LOVE Always Pointing...so go gitcherself a little Intuition !

bee.tee.dub: Tomorrow is April 1st....I'll be taking down the 21 Challenge stuff, putting it in archive challenges so as to not cramp up this month!

and...

April....what do they say about April?  ....showers bring May flowers? um...yea....hope I have some flowers soon...I need some cheer!

 woohoo! It's Thursday....InspiReMe ThuRsday! I loved this past week's prompt; wall paper. Totally inspiRed by this wallpaper by Lisa Bengsston.

And love the idea of an interactive wallpaper. So...my inspiRe me thuRsday project is this:

I created a bunch of frames....put them up on the wall & added fun things. I love this because you can add photos; monograms; art, & little trinkets...change them out; etc!
